AAA OKLAHOMA IS THE NEW TITLE SPONSOR FOR TELEVISION’S DISCOVER OKLAHOMA SHOW
NEWS from AAA Oklahoma, July 1 – AAA Oklahoma has announced it has assumed primary sponsorship of Discover Oklahoma, a half-hour television show produced weekly by the Oklahoma Tourism and Recreation Dept.
“AAA and a show about travel is a natural fit. We’re delighted to be associated with this top-notch local travel program,” said Neal Krueger, President and CEO of AAA Oklahoma. “Each week, AAA’s Discover Oklahoma brings viewers intriguing stories of places to visit and things to do in Oklahoma, highlighting the state’s natural beauty, rich history, restaurants and other points of interest. And as an Oklahoma native, I like the way the show also introduces us to some of our state’s extraordinary people.”
AAA’s Discover Oklahoma airs on Saturdays at 6:30 p.m. on KOTV-TV Channel 6 in Tulsa, KWTV-TV Channel 9 in OKC, and KSWO-TV Channel 7 in Lawton. It also airs on Saturdays at 6 p.m. on KXII-TV Channel 12 in the Sherman/Ada area, as well as on cable stations statewide throughout the week.
On the July 2 show, regular host Jenifer Reynolds’ co-host will be Oklahoma Lieutenant Governor Todd Lamb, a native of Enid, who takes viewers on a tour of his hometown. AAA’s Discover Oklahoma will visit Vance AFB, the Leona Mitchell Southern Heights Heritage Center & Museum, Simpson’s Olde Time Museum and Movie Studio, the Railroad Museum of Oklahoma, the Midgley Museum, Leonardo’s Discovery Warehouse and Adventure Quest and the Cherokee Strip Regional Heritage Center, as well as many restaurants and shops.
