AAA Offers Tipsy Tow for NCAA Tournament in Tulsa
NEWS from AAA Oklahoma, Feb. 23– Thousands of fans are expected to attend NCAA playoff games March 18-20 at Tulsa’s BOK Center. AAA Oklahoma will offer its community service program, Tipsy Tow, for those who may partake in too many alcoholic beverages while supporting their team and feel unsafe behind the wheel.
“You don’t need to be a member of AAA to call for Tipsy Tow,” said Chuck Mai, spokesman for AAA Oklahoma “We want those fans who travel to Tulsa for the games to be safe and to feel safe while they are in our city.”
AAA will give the motorist and up to one more person a free ride home or to their hotel plus a free tow for their vehicle, within a 15 mile radius of point of pickup.
Tipsy Tow starts at noon on St. Patrick’s Day, Thursday, March 17, and runs until 10 p.m. on Sunday, March 20 in metropolitan Tulsa.
